道の駅白馬
The roadside station is situated at the southern entrance of Hakuba Village along Route 148.
The remarkable building, designed in a woody, mountain hut style, features high ceilings and expansive stained glass windows, creating an eye-catching and spacious ambiance. In addition to offering souvenirs, the shop presents an array of Hakuba's specialties, including purple rice, Hakuba pork, locally-produced buckwheat noodles, and fresh vegetables.
Our rice is crafted from Koshihikari rice cultivated in Hakuba, and its vivid purple hue results from being cooked with a blend of specialty ancient rice.
Ichi-Oshi: Handmade Soba Noodles
Our restaurant's soba menu comprises exclusively handmade noodles, crafted from home-milled brown buckwheat grown in Hakuba Village. Although not visible at the restaurant, we prepare our soba in a hut located behind the establishment.
Recommendation: Hakuba Pork Menu
Our Hakuba Pork (SPF Pork) hails from pigs raised in Hakuba Village. SPF pigs are free from pig-specific diseases and require minimal antibiotic use for prevention. They also thrive in Hakuba's pristine water, which imparts a delicious fat and flavor.
